Amirtha restaurant

We are situated right on the national highway that goes from Pondicherry to Villupuram. It is a very busy road with trucks and cars passing by at all times of the day and night. Our restaurant is in the Madagalipet area, and if you look for the Indian Bank, we are just near there. It makes it easy for people to find us when they are driving through. Because we are on the highway, we get a lot of travelers who are tired and just want a quick meal before they continue their journey. The place is simple and we don't have a lot of bells and whistles. We serve the kind of food people expect when they are on the road. It gets dusty outside because of the traffic, but we try to keep the inside comfortable for whoever walks in. Sometimes it's a family on vacation and other times it's a truck driver who needs a break. We've been at this location for a while now and we know the rhythm of the highway traffic. Lunchtime is usually the busiest part of the day for us. We don't have a big menu, just the basic stuff that we know how to cook well. It is a practical spot for a meal if you are traveling between Pondicherry and Villupuram. We just keep the doors open and the stove going for the people passing by.
