Bombay Anandha Bhavan Restaurant

Bombay Anandha Bhavan Restaurant is located at Number 199 on Mission Street in Pondicherry. We are right across from the Nilgries store, which most people in the 605001 area know well. Mission Street is a central spot, so we get a good mix of locals and people visiting the city. We’ve been here for several years now, just doing our thing. It isn't a very complicated business. We cook, we serve, and we try to keep the place looking decent. We don't have any corporate training or polished speeches. It’s just us and a few helpers making sure everything runs okay. Sometimes it’s a bit of a scramble when a big group comes in, but we get through it. Being opposite Nilgries is helpful because it makes us easy to find. We see the same people every week, and we’ve gotten to know their usual orders. We don't use any fancy language to describe ourselves. We are just a restaurant on Mission Street. We deal with the usual daily stuff, like deliveries arriving late or the heat in the kitchen, but we don't complain much. It’s just how life is here in Pondicherry. We keep the doors open and wait to see who comes in next. It’s a steady job and we like being part of the local scene at 199 Mission Street.
