Annapoorna Hotel & Sweets

We are located at No 191 on M M Adigal Salai in the Nellithope area of Pondicherry. Our spot is right opposite the bus stand in Orlainyanpet, which means we see a constant stream of travelers coming and going. People are always rushing to catch a bus or just arriving in town and looking for something to eat. We have a mix of hotel rooms and a sweets shop, so it stays pretty busy throughout the day. The 605005 area is one of those places that never really seems to sleep. During festival seasons, our sweets section gets especially crowded with people buying boxes for their families. The staff is always busy packing laddoos or cleaning the tables after a quick lunch rush. We don't have any polished corporate training. Most of us just learned on the job by doing it every day. The building is right there on the main road, so the sound of buses honking is something we hear from morning to night. It isn't a quiet place, but it is convenient for anyone traveling through Pondicherry. We just focus on keeping the food ready and the rooms tidy for whoever walks in. It is a lot of work to keep up with the crowds, but we have been doing it this way for a long time. We just take things one day at a time here in Nellithope.
