The No Name Kafe

The No Name Kafe is situated at No 286 on the ECR Main Road in Lawspet. We are right near the Accord Hotel and just opposite Kokku Park in the Pakkamudayanpet area. It’s a bit of a mouthful to explain the address, but once you’re in Pondicherry 605008, it’s not too hard to find us. We picked the name because we couldn't agree on anything else, and it just kind of stuck. The place is small and we like it that way. We don't have a lot of staff, so you’ll usually see the same two or three of us every time you come in. The ECR road is always busy with bikes and cars going past, so there is a lot of dust we have to clean up every morning. We have a few plants out front that we try to keep watered. Inside, it’s just a simple setup with some fans to keep the air moving. We aren't trying to be the trendiest place in town. We just want a spot where we can make coffee and snacks without a lot of drama. Sometimes the internet goes down and we can’t take cards, which is a pain, but people are usually understanding. It’s a relaxed vibe, mostly because we’re too tired to be anything else. We’re just glad to be part of the Lawspet neighborhood and doing our thing.
