Sri Aryaas Restaurant

Our place, Sri Aryaas Restaurant, is located at No16 on the Villiyanur Main Road in the Nellithope area. If you know Pondicherry, you know this road gets quite a lot of traffic. We are right there in Vivekanandha Nager. We’ve been serving food to the local crowd for some time now. It’s a straightforward restaurant where you can just sit down and eat without any fuss. The kitchen is always going from early morning until late. We do the usual things like sambar and various rice dishes. Most of our staff have been with us for years, so we all know how things work. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning in every corner, but we keep it tidy. Sometimes the weekends get really packed and people have to wait a bit for a table, which we don't like but it's hard to avoid. We try to keep the prices where they have always been so regular people can afford to eat here every day. Living and working in Nellithope means we see the same faces every morning for coffee or tiffin. It feels good when people keep coming back. We don't spend money on big signs or anything. We just focus on the cooking. The traffic on Villiyanur Main Road can be a bit much sometimes, but that’s just how it is here. We are just a local spot trying to stay open and keep things moving as best as we can.
