Sree Andhra Tiffins

We started Sree Andhra Tiffins here in Pondicherry on Ambalathaidiar Madam Street quite a while back. Most people know where we are because Lakshmi Jewellery is just a short walk away. It’s a busy spot but we try to keep things moving. We mostly focus on tiffins like idli and dosa. The kitchen stays hot from early morning until we close up. We don't have fancy decorations or anything. It's just wooden tables and the smell of sambar. Sometimes it gets crowded and you might have to wait a minute for a seat, especially during breakfast time. We use the recipes that have been around for years. Nothing has changed much since we opened. We buy our groceries locally every few days to keep things fresh. The staff here has been with us for a long time. They know how things work. People stop by on their way to work or just to grab a quick bite. It’s a simple setup. We don't spend money on big signs or ads. Word of mouth usually brings people in. If you are near the jewellery shop, you can just walk down the street and find us. We keep the place clean as much as we can, but it’s a busy kitchen. That’s just how it is. We focus on getting the food right and making sure everyone leaves with a full stomach. It isn't a place for a long meeting, just good food and a quick chat.
