You can find us at the Le Pondy Hotel, specifically at No 3 on Lake View Road. We’re out in the Thavalakuppam area, near Pudukuppam Nallavad Post. It’s a bit of a drive from the main town center of Pondicherry, but it’s a nice enough spot near the water. We’ve been operating here as part of the hotel grounds for a while now. The vibe is pretty quiet most days, which suits us just fine. People come here to get away from the noise of the city, and we just provide the food. We don’t bother with anything too complicated in the kitchen. We just make sure the ingredients are okay and the cooking gets done right every time. It’s a local operation, and many of our staff live right nearby in the village. On the weekends, things pick up when the tourists arrive from the city, but during the week, it’s mostly just the sounds of the lake and the birds. We don’t really do big ads or anything like that. We just keep the lights on and wait for people to come in for their meals. It’s a practical setup in a pretty part of the world. If you’re heading down Lake View Road, you’ll see the signs for the hotel and us. We’re usually around from early until late, just keeping things moving for whoever shows up.
