Pondy Restaurant

Our restaurant is located inside the Pondicherry Ashok Beach Resort on Ecr Road. It is not hard to find if you are coming from Pondicherry University or walking down toward Kalapet Beach. The vibe here is pretty relaxed since the water is just a short walk away. We don't have a massive staff, just a small group of us who handle the cooking and the tables. Sometimes the sea breeze is nice, but it can make everything feel a bit salty. Most of the people who eat here are staying at the resort or students looking for a break from campus. We kept the tables simple and did not put up many decorations. It is just a place to sit and have a meal. We open early in the morning and stay busy until the sun goes down. If a big group shows up all at once, the kitchen gets a bit hectic, but we manage to get the plates out. Many of our regulars come back for the same dish every single week. That kind of steady routine suits us well. No one here does big advertising or tries to be the most popular spot on the coast. We are just a local business doing our work in a quiet corner of Pondicherry. If you are ever wandering by the beach, you will see us there by the resort entrance. It is a normal spot for food and a bit of rest.
