New Mallu

We are over at Kamaraj Salai in Gorimedu. It’s a busy spot right near Subaiya Kalayana Mandapam. Most people know the area because of the wedding hall, so we get a lot of folks coming by after events or just passing through this part of Pondicherry. We started New Mallu because we wanted to have a place that felt like home for the locals around here. It isn't a fancy setup or anything like that. We just focus on getting things done the right way every day. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when there is a big function next door, but we manage. The staff has been here for a while and they know most of the regular faces who stop in. We try to keep things simple. There is always something to do, whether it’s cleaning up or making sure everything is ready for the lunch rush. Pondicherry is a nice place to run a small business, and Gorimedu has a good mix of people. We’ve seen the street change a lot over the years, but we stay right here at No 149. It’s not about doing anything groundbreaking. We just want to make sure people have a place to go when they are in this part of town. Sometimes the traffic on Kamaraj Salai is a bit much, but that’s just how it is. We are just a local team doing our thing and staying busy.
