Neithal Restaurant

Neithal Restaurant is located at No 5 on the Pondy Cuddalore Main Road in Kirumambakkam. We are quite easy to find because we are very close to Rajiv Gandhi Engineering College. Being in Pondicherry 607403, we get a lot of students from the college coming in between their classes, which keeps us on our toes. The main road is always buzzing with traffic going between Pondy and Cuddalore, so it never really gets quiet here. We just focus on serving simple meals that don't cost too much, since we know a lot of our customers are on a budget. It's a modest place with basic tables and chairs, and we don't put much effort into decorations. We’d rather spend that time in the kitchen. Sometimes the fans are a bit noisy, and the floor might have a few scuffs, but it’s a real place where people come to eat. We have our regulars who come in every day for the same thing, and we usually have it ready for them before they even sit down. It’s just how we do things here in Kirumambakkam. We don't have a huge team, so everyone does a bit of everything, from washing dishes to taking orders. It’s hard work, especially when it’s hot outside, but we like the energy of the college crowd and the busy main road right outside our door.
