Nano Restaurant & Fast Food

Nano Restaurant & Fast Food is located at number 7 on Airport Road in Lawspet. We are right opposite Rajiv Gandhi Park in Pondicherry. It’s a good spot because people come over from the park when they get hungry. We serve things quickly because that’s what people expect in a fast food place. The shop isn't very big, so it’s mostly for people to grab something and go, though we have a few places to sit. Pondicherry can be very humid, so we keep the fans going at full speed all day. I spend my time mostly behind the counter handling the cash or bagging up food. We get a lot of kids from the neighborhood coming in for snacks. The road outside is busy with people heading towards the airport. Sometimes the traffic is so loud we can't hear the customers properly. We keep the menu simple because it’s easier that way for everyone. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we haven't had the time to get to it yet. We clean the floors every few hours because of the sand people bring in from outside. It’s a small operation with just a couple of us working the shifts. We don't really have any big plans, we just want to get through the day and make sure the food is ready when people ask for it. That’s about all there is to it here at Lawspet.
