Muthu Restaurant

This is Muthu Restaurant, and we are located at number 170 on Mission Street in Pondicherry. This is a very old street and we have been a part of it for quite some time. The area has a lot of history and you can see it in the buildings around us. We serve meals throughout the day. It is a simple place with plain tables and chairs. We don't have any of the fancy decor you might see in the tourist parts of town. Our customers are mostly local people who want a regular meal. We do a lot of rice dishes and the usual sides. The kitchen is always busy with the sound of pots and pans. Mission Street can be quite busy with scooters and tourists walking around. We just stay focused on our work inside. The staff has been with us for a long time. We know what we are doing by now. Sometimes the weather gets very hot, but we keep the fans going for the customers. It’s a practical place to eat without spending too much money. We don’t bother with advertisements or anything like that. People find us because we’ve been here so long. It’s just a straightforward restaurant. We open the doors, cook the food, and serve it. That’s our day every day. We like being on Mission Street, it feels like home to us now. It is a good place to be for us.
