We spend our days getting everything ready for the people who walk in. The building is simple and we try to keep it that way. We don’t like things to be too complicated. Pondicherry has a certain way about it, a bit slow but also busy with tourists. We see a lot of people who are just passing through the town. Working on Mission Street means we see the same faces every day, like the bank employees or the other shop owners. We all just do our own thing. The afternoon sun hits the front of the shop quite hard. We’ve been here for a while and have become part of the street. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s ours. We just focus on the daily tasks like cleaning the tables and checking the supplies. If you’re looking for us, just find the ICICI Bank and look across the road. We are right there at number 14.
