We are located right above the Siva Supermarket in Kattukuppam. If you are coming down the ECR Main road, you can't miss the spot near Mahatma Gandhi Medical College. It is just a simple place we have here. We started this because we saw a lot of students and staff from the college looking for a place to sit and eat something decent without spending too much money. Usually, it gets pretty loud around lunch time when the classes let out. We try to keep the tables clean but sometimes when it's packed, things move a bit slow. The kitchen is always going from the morning. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that. Just plastic chairs and some fans that we keep running all day because Pondicherry gets really hot. Most people know us by word of mouth or they just see the sign when they are doing their grocery shopping downstairs. We just cook what we know and put it on the plate. Some days are better than others, honestly. The stairs are a bit narrow so you have to be careful coming up. We spend most of our time in the back prep area or chatting with the regulars who stop by every afternoon. It’s a basic setup but it works for the people around here. We don’t really do much advertising or anything because the neighborhood keeps us busy enough as it is.
