Tehatta 1 Farmers Producer Company Limited is located in the village of Bhowanipur. It is right near the Tehatta police station area. Our office is a very basic building, nothing that would catch your eye from the road. We are a group of local farmers who decided to team up. It makes it easier to buy what we need and sell what we grow. The road leading to our place can get quite muddy when it rains, so watch your step if you visit. We don’t have a big marketing budget or any fancy brochures. Most of our work is done through word of mouth among the villagers. We spend a lot of time talking to the members about their harvests and the challenges they are facing. It is a small operation with just a few of us handling the day-to-day tasks. We aren't trying to be some huge company. We just want to do right by the people in our community. You will mostly find us in our regular clothes, and there is usually a lot of talk about the weather and the price of seeds. It is a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up, but we eventually get through it. We are just a bunch of neighbors trying to make a living from the land. It’s not always easy, but we are in it together as a group.
