Ramesh Chandra Chaudhary

Out here in Vill- Bramhanagar, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. My name is Ramesh Chandra Chaudhary and this is my business operation. We are located in the Krishnanagar- 1 block, specifically under the Kotwali police station area. Most people around here know me or my family. We work out of our village base near Uoshidpur. It’s mostly about managing what comes from the local fields and making sure it gets to the right places. I don't have a big staff, just some local hands and family members who help out during the peak seasons. Our storage area is part of the property and it’s usually filled with whatever is being harvested at the time. The roads around the village can get a bit muddy during the monsoon which makes transport a real headache sometimes. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just talking to neighbors who bring their goods to us. It’s a very personal way of doing business. You won’t find any shiny brochures or a fancy reception desk here. Just a room with some ledgers and a place to sit and have tea while we talk about the day's work. We are just happy to be part of this community and doing our job without a lot of noise. It’s a quiet life but we stay busy enough to keep going year after year.
