The New Nadia Women Farmers Producer Company Limited is based right here in Aramdanga. A bunch of us women from the village decided to come together because doing everything alone was getting too difficult. We work out of Nishit Kr. Biswas’s place in Vill-Aramdanga. Most of us have been farming since we were small kids helping our parents. Now we handle our own plots and try to help each other out with the heavy stuff. Life in Chitrasali is mostly about the farming seasons. When it's time to harvest, everyone is busy from dawn until late at night. We don't have time for fancy talk or big promises. We just want to make sure our children have a good future and our crops are healthy. Sometimes we meet under the big trees to discuss the seed prices or how to handle the irrigation when the water is low. It’s a simple life, but it’s ours. We have faced plenty of challenges, like bad rains or high costs for tools. But being part of this company helps us feel a bit more secure. You won't find a big sign or a lobby at our place. It’s just a village house where we keep our records and store some supplies. We are proud of what we grow in these fields around 741151. It’s just us, the soil, and the work that needs doing every single day of the year.
