Badkulla Agro Farmers Producer Companylimited is right in East Badkulla. We are based out of the area where Gurudeb Biswas used to be. Badkulla is a place that is always moving and shaking. We have the railway nearby and the local market is always crowded with people. Our group is just a bunch of local farmers from the east side. We share the hard work and the costs. It is better than trying to do everything alone and getting stressed out by the bills. We grow a variety of things depending on what the season allows us to do. Sometimes it is vegetables, and sometimes it is grain. We keep all our records at the house and meet up whenever there is a big decision that needs to be made. It is not a formal thing with suits or ties. We are usually wearing our old working clothes and thinking about the next task in the field. The soil around Badkulla is actually pretty good, but you still have to put in the effort every day. We have seen a lot of changes over the years, with new ways of doing things, but the basics of farming stay the same. You plant the seeds, you water them, you wait, and you hope for the best. We do not have any slogans. We just have our names and our reputations in the village.
