Rise And Shine Farmers Producer Companylimited is situated in Baraswarajpur, which is under the Po: Dhatrigram area. We operate out of the house of Bani Talit, who is the wife of Baidyanath Talit. It is a real family-style environment here because we are right in the middle of the village. The office is basically a front room where we keep all our ledgers and bags of grain. Dhatrigram is a place where farming is everything, so we are right where we need to be. We don't have a website or a marketing team. We just have our names and our reputation among the other farmers in the village. Most mornings start early with people knocking on the door to talk about the latest weather or the price of fertilizer. We have a lot of tea and talk about how to make the next season better than the last one. The house is old but it stays cool in the summer which is nice. We focus on the practical side of farming, like making sure the seeds are distributed fairly and everyone has what they need. It is not a polished business, just a group of us trying to rise and shine like the name says. We deal with the dirt and the rain every day and this house is where we come together to figure it all out.
