Khababs Restaurant

We have been here at the hotel for a while now. It gets really cold outside in Leh Ladakh, so people come in to sit down and get out of the wind. You can find us at the Khababs Hotel near Leh Ho. Most days it’s just us keeping things running for whoever walks in. The address is Khaltsi Leh Ho if you are looking for the exact spot. It isn't a fancy place, just some tables and chairs where you can eat. We try to keep it warm inside. Sometimes the tourists stop by and other times it is just the locals who live nearby. We don't have a big team or anything like that. It’s mostly just a few of us making sure everything is ready. The kitchen is always busy in the evenings when guests come back to the hotel. We’ve seen the town change over the years. Some days the weather is tough, but we stay open. It’s a simple setup we have here. People usually find us because they are staying in the building or just passing through the area. We don't spend much time on decorations or anything like that. The focus is just on getting the food out. You get a good view of the surroundings from here. It is a quiet life in this part of Leh, and we like it that way. Just a regular spot for a meal.
