Uma Grill

Uma Grill is over at 184 Lake Gardens in the Charu Chandra Place part of Tollygunge. It is not a very big place, just a regular spot where we get the grills going every day. Some people find us easily because of the neighborhood, and we have been around this 700033 area for a bit now. The morning starts with getting the coal ready or checking the meat, and it stays busy until we close up at night. We don't really do anything fancy here, just focus on making the food like we usually do. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded, and the noise of the traffic comes right inside, but that is just how it is in this part of town. If you are walking around Lake Gardens, you will probably see our small sign hanging out front. We try to keep things clean and simple, though the walls could probably use a new coat of paint soon. The staff has been the same for a long time, and we all know how the kitchen runs without even talking much. It is just a kitchen where we spend most of our hours. Nothing more to it than that. We just keep the grill hot and wait for people to come by after work or on the weekends. Sometimes we run out of things early if it is a busy Friday, but we just start again the next morning. It is a lot of work keeping a place like this running in Tollygunge, but we like being part of the local scene here. People come in, eat, and head home. That's the whole story.
