Power Services

We are located at 33 Phears Lane. If you know this area, you know it’s a tight street with a lot of history and a lot of people moving around. Power Services has been at this address for a long time. The building is old, like most of the structures on Phears Lane, with thick walls and high ceilings that keep it somewhat cool in the heat. Our entrance is just a plain door that stays open during business hours. Inside, it’s a bit dark because the windows are small, but we have plenty of lamps over the work areas. There is a specific smell to the place—a mix of old paper, oil, and maybe a bit of dust. We don’t have any modern office furniture; most of our chairs and desks have been here since the beginning. We do a lot of different things related to power and electrical work. It’s a hands-on kind of place. You might see a pile of old motors in one corner and a stack of manuals in another. We don’t spend money on marketing or fancy signs. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve walked past 33 Phears Lane a thousand times. We take our time with the work and don’t like to be rushed. It’s a quiet life for the most part, tucked away in this busy part of the city.
