Meonis

Meonis is based right inside the Air Link Guest House at 1 Jessore Road. We are very close to the Kolkata Airport, specifically near the 2no airport gate. Because of where we are, we see people from all over the world, usually looking a bit tired and carrying too many suitcases. The sound of airplanes is something you just get used to after a few days of being here. Jessore Road is always packed with taxis and buses, so there’s a lot of honking and engine noise throughout the day and night. We are a small operation, and we focus on keeping the guest house area tidy and helping people who are just passing through Kolkata. The building is tall and the stairs can be a bit of a workout if you’re carrying heavy bags. We don’t have a fancy lobby with marble floors; it’s more about being a practical place to stop. The humidity in Kolkata can be tough on the walls and the furniture, so we’re always doing a bit of maintenance here and there. We don’t have any big corporate goals, we just try to make sure the rooms are ready when the next flight lands. It’s a busy life being so close to the airport, but it keeps things interesting for us every single day. We are just regular workers making sure the place stays running.
