You can find us at 11 Brabourne Road, on the second floor of Draupadi Mansion. It is a classic old building with high ceilings and those big windows that let in a lot of street noise. East Coast Distributors has been operating from this spot for a long time. We handle the distribution of various goods for shops and smaller businesses around the region. The office still has a very traditional feel to it. We have heavy wooden desks and old-fashioned cupboards for all our records. We are not a high-tech company that uses all the latest gadgets. We have our computers, of course, but a lot of our work is still done by talking to people face to face or over the telephone. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit of a climb, but we are used to it by now. We have a small group of loyal employees who have been with us for decades. We usually start the day with a bit of a chat and some tea before the phones start ringing. It is a very grounded way to run a business. We don't have any big corporate goals or fancy slogans. We just try to make sure our suppliers are happy and the goods get delivered on time to the retailers. It is a regular job in a historic part of town.
