Our office is on the 9th floor of Magma House, which is at 24 Park Street. Being on the ninth floor means we have a pretty good view of the city, especially when the sun goes down. Park Street is always full of energy, with people rushing around and plenty of places to eat. Inside the office, things are a bit more focused. We handle various business interests under the Cheriot name. It is mostly a lot of paperwork, ledger entries, and phone calls. We have a small pantry where we make tea and coffee throughout the day. The office layout is simple, with some cabins and an open area for the staff. We don't use a lot of big words or have complicated mission statements on the walls. We just come in, do the work that needs to be done, and head home. The building can get quite busy in the mornings with everyone trying to get into the lifts. Sometimes we have meetings that go on longer than they should, and other times we finish our tasks early and just chat for a bit. It’s a professional environment but it isn't cold or overly formal. We know each other well and we just get on with things. It is a typical office life in one of the busiest parts of the city, and we have grown quite fond of the routine here.
