Aaltex International

You can find us at Tobacco House, up on the fifth floor in Room 507. It’s right at the Old House Corner on Old Court House Street. This building has a lot of history, and you can feel it when you walk up the stairs or use the old lift. Aaltex International isn't a massive firm with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us working out of this office. The view from the fifth floor isn't much, just the tops of other old buildings and the busy street below. We’ve got desks piled with papers and samples everywhere. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, especially when we get new shipments in. Old Court House Street is always buzzing with lawyers and office workers, so there’s a lot of energy outside. Inside, we just try to keep up with the emails and the phone calls. We deal with international trade, so the hours can be a bit strange depending on who we are talking to. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you knock on the door of Room 507, one of us will just get up and answer it. We like being in this part of town because everything is close by. It’s an old-school way of working, but it suits us just fine. We just keep our heads down and do the work we need to do. There isn't much more to it than that, really.
