Maniyoor Central A L P School

Our school is tucked away on Nayattur Road in the Cheruvathalamotta area of Kannur. It is specifically in Thaliparamb South. We have a pretty traditional setup here at Maniyoor Central A L P School. The area is quite green, which is nice compared to the more crowded parts of town. We have been here serving the local families for a long time. The building is a simple structure with several classrooms for the primary students. You can see the trees from the windows, and it’s usually quite breezy. The kids come from all over the surrounding neighborhood, mostly by walking. We have a small team of teachers who have been with us through many school years. They know the families well. It’s a very quiet and peaceful spot for the most part. We don't have any high-tech gadgets or fancy modern architecture. It’s just wooden desks, benches, and old blackboards. The bell rings at the start and end of every day, and that’s how we keep time. Kannur has its own pace, and we definitely fit into that. We just focus on getting the children through their basic lessons. It’s a reliable place for the community. We don't make much noise about what we do; we just show up and keep the school running for the next generation. It is just a modest place where the neighborhood kids come to study and play for a few hours every day.
