Thekkummuri L P Schhool

Thekkummuri L P Schhool has been sitting here on Thalasserey Road in Thuvakunnu for quite a while now. We are a small primary school in the Thrippangottur area of Kannur. Most of the kids who come here live nearby, so everyone pretty much knows each other. The building isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where children come to learn their basics. We have a handful of teachers who handle the different classes. Mornings usually start with the kids lining up and then heading into the rooms. It gets pretty loud during the breaks when they all run out to the small open space we have. Since we are right on the main road, it’s easy for parents to drop their children off on their way to work. We try to keep things organized, but with young kids, there is always a bit of chaos. The benches are a bit old, and we spend time fixing things up when they break. We teach the standard subjects that are required, focusing on reading and writing. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit muddy around the entrance, but we manage. It’s just a normal school where local families send their little ones. We don't have a big office or anything, just a desk for paperwork. People in the neighborhood know where we are. It’s a simple life here at the school and we just keep doing our thing every day.
