Nana Nani Restaurant

You’ll find Nana Nani Restaurant inside the Hotel Australia Blue International in Jaisalmer. We are right across from Bhatia Bagechi and very close to Hanuman Circle. It’s a busy spot, especially with all the travelers coming through the 345001 area. The restaurant is on the ground floor, and we keep the doors open to catch whatever breeze we can, though it’s usually just hot air in this part of Rajasthan. We serve a mix of people, from tourists staying upstairs in the hotel to locals who just want a quick bite. The kitchen is small but we manage to make it work every day. Most of our staff has been here for a long time, so they know the routine well. We spend a lot of time wiping down tables and making sure the water jugs are full. It's not a high-end dining experience. It's just a place to eat some decent food without any fuss or pretense. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to use candles or lanterns to see, but we keep the cooking going. The street outside is always noisy with rickshaws and tourists, but inside it’s a bit more relaxed than the road. We don't have a big marketing budget or a social media manager. We just rely on people walking in because they are hungry. It’s a practical way to run a business here. We just focus on the daily chores and serving the guests. It works for us.
