West Point School

If you head down Tumba Jot Road in Matigara, you will eventually find West Point School. We are based here in Siliguri, and it’s a pretty busy area these days. The school is a mix of old and new parts. We have some newer rooms and some that have been around since we first opened. There’s a lot of walking involved because the layout is a bit spread out. We spend a lot of time managing the arrivals and departures of the school buses. It gets a bit chaotic when it rains, which happens quite often here in Siliguri. The mud can be a bit of a mess on the road outside, but we just deal with it. Inside, things are mostly quiet once the classes start. We have a small office where we handle the admissions and the fees. It’s just a handful of us working there, mostly trying to keep the records straight. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations. Mostly just posters the kids made and some old calendars. It’s a decent place to work, even if the commute can be a bit long for some of us. We are just a local school trying to get through the syllabus every year. You’ll find us right there on the Tumba Jot Road if you ever need to stop by for anything.
