B S F Residential School is situated in Kadamtala, which is part of Siliguri. This area is quite green and spread out. Since it’s a residential school, we have students living on the grounds for most of the year. The campus has several buildings for classes and for the dormitories. Siliguri weather can be a bit unpredictable, so we spend a lot of time indoors when it’s raining. The routine is pretty strict because that’s how we keep things organized with so many kids. We have a dining hall where everyone eats together. The food is simple and filling. We have teachers who stay on the premises, so they are always around to help out. The playground is quite large, which is good for the students in the evenings. We don't have a lot of high-tech stuff in the classrooms. We use chalkboards and paper mostly. Life here is about the day-to-day tasks. Getting up, going to class, eating, and doing some sports. We have a small infirmary for when someone gets a cold. The staff works hard to keep the place clean and running. It’s not a fancy place, just a functional one. We focus on the students and their studies. Kadamtala is a good spot for a school because it’s away from the main city noise. It’s just a regular place where kids live and learn together. We keep things moving and make sure the schedule is followed every single day.
