Siliguri Model High School

We are located right in Gurung Basti, over in the Pradhan Nagar area of Siliguri. It’s a busy spot, and there is always something going on outside our gates. Siliguri Model High School is a place many families here rely on. The building has seen many seasons, and it shows a bit of age in some corners, but it holds up well. We have a lot of students, so it gets quite cramped during the morning assembly. We don't put much stock in fancy titles or complicated rules. We just show up, teach the kids, and head home. The teachers here are mostly locals who know the families in the neighborhood. You might see us at the local market or walking to the bus stop after work. It’s a straightforward setup. We have the usual blackboards, wooden benches, and a library that is always a bit disorganized. During the rainy season, the sound on the roof can get pretty loud, but the kids don't seem to mind. We just keep going with the lessons. It’s not always perfect, and sometimes we run out of chalk or the bells ring a minute late. But that is just how a busy school works. We are part of the daily rhythm of Pradhan Nagar, and we like it that way.
