Lincolns High School

You can find us over at Karai Bari, near Milan More in the Champasari area of Siliguri. It’s a decent location, a bit away from the heaviest traffic of the city center. The school has been part of this community for a while, and we’ve seen a lot of kids grow up and move on from here. We aren't trying to be the fanciest school in West Bengal, just a place where students can actually learn something. The building is solid and has enough rooms for the different grades. We have the usual subjects, science, math, and the rest. The staff here mostly takes the bus or rides their scooters to get to work. It’s a very local feel. We have a playground that gets used a lot during the breaks, and it’s usually pretty loud then. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just open the doors in the morning, teach the classes, and head home when the day is done. The desks are a bit old, but they work fine. We try to keep the parents updated, but we don't do those glossy brochures. Most of our information gets passed around by word of mouth in Champasari. It’s a straightforward school for families who live around Milan More. We focus on the basics and try to keep the environment decent for everyone involved.
