Vummidi Ethiraj & Sons Exports

You can find us at No. 86 on Devaraja Mudali Street. We are just off N.S.C. Road which is always a very crowded area to be in. The company name is Vummidi Ethiraj & Sons Exports but that is a bit of a mouthful so we usually just tell people we are at the shop on the corner. This building has been here for a long time and you can tell by the walls and the old wooden doors. We do export work which means a lot of checking lists and making sure things are packed right. It is a family thing that has been going on for years. The street outside is always full of carts and people shouting and it never really gets quiet until very late at night. We have a lot of regular people who stop by just to say hello or ask about a shipment. Inside it is a bit dark because the buildings are so close together but we have enough lights to see what we are doing. We don't have any polished floors or modern furniture. Everything is very functional and used every day. We just sit at our old desks and handle the business that comes our way. It is a busy life but it is what we know. We don’t try to make it sound like something it isn't. It is just a regular export business in an old part of the city.
