Sivitha Ice Creams

You can find us over at 24, Ormes Road in Kilpauk. It’s a relatively quiet street compared to the main roads, but it still has its busy moments. We make ice cream here, and we’ve been doing it for a while now. The shop itself is quite small, mostly taken up by the big freezers where we store everything. We don't have fancy decorations or neon signs like the big chains do. It’s just a simple counter and some freezer chests. In the back, we have the machinery for mixing and freezing the batches. It can get a bit messy with the sugar and milk, so we spend a lot of time cleaning. We try to keep a good variety of flavors, but we aren't constantly coming up with strange new things. We stick to what people like. On hot afternoons, the shop gets a lot of kids from the nearby schools, and it can get a bit loud and crowded for an hour or two. We have a couple of old fans that struggle to keep the place cool, but the freezers work fine, and that’s the important part. We don't do any big advertising campaigns. Usually, people just see our sign and come in for a scoop. It’s a small, local business, and we like it that way. We just focus on keeping the ice cream cold and the customers happy with a simple treat.
