Acekreamers

Acekreamers is a little shop located at No. 102 in Anmol Arcade on L.B. Road in Adyar. We are tucked away in Shop No. G on the ground level. Adyar is a busy part of Chennai, and there are always people walking past our doors. We started this business because we wanted to have a place where people could just come and get something cold and sweet. It’s not a massive operation by any means. It’s just a small space with some freezers and a counter where we serve our customers. Most of our day is spent making sure everything is clean and that the temperatures are exactly where they need to be. When it gets really hot outside, which happens a lot here, the shop becomes a very popular spot for a quick break. We aren't part of some big international chain with a bunch of rules and scripts. We are just local people serving the community. Sometimes we run out of a certain flavor and have to explain it to a disappointed kid, but we do our best to keep things stocked. The arcade is a nice place to work from, even if it gets a bit loud on the weekends. We don't have a big advertising budget or a fancy website. We just hope that if someone likes what they have, they’ll come back again. It’s a simple business model, but it keeps us busy and we enjoy the daily interactions with our neighbors.
