Karthick Dairy Products

Down here at 40, Kalashethra Colony, things start very early. Most of the neighborhood is still asleep when the first milk cans arrive at 1st Street. Karthick Dairy Products has been part of this little corner for a long while now. The building is tucked away, so it stays relatively quiet once the morning rush is over. Our staff consists of a few local guys who know every shortcut in the colony. The floors are always being washed down because keeping a dairy clean is a never-ending job. We don't have a big fancy storefront with neon lights. It’s just a plain entrance where people come to pick up what they need. Sometimes the fridge makes a bit of a humming noise that you can hear from the sidewalk. We spend our days checking the temperatures and making sure the packaging is tight. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us on our feet. We don’t do much advertising; people just know we are here at number 40. The walls have some scuffs from the crates, and the desk in the front is cluttered with ledgers. It feels like a real workshop. We like the pace of life in Kalashethra Colony. It’s a good place to be, and we’re happy to be the ones providing the dairy for the folks around here. It is just what we do every day without much fuss.
