Main Street

We've been here at The Residency Towers on Sir Thayagaraya Road for a good while now. It's T. Nagar, so you know how busy the streets get outside. We just focus on getting the food right every day. The kitchen staff starts early, chopping vegetables and making sure the supplies are fresh. It’s a lot of work running a place like Main Street, but we manage. Sometimes the lunch rush gets a bit loud, and we might run out of a specific dish if it’s popular that day. We don't try to be anything fancy, just a place where you can get a decent meal without too much fuss. People come in from the offices nearby or after shopping in the neighborhood. We know many of them by name at this point. The furniture has seen some years, but it's comfortable enough for a sit-down. Most days, I’m just making sure the floors are swept and the orders go out on time. We’ve had the same cooks for years, and they have their own way of doing things. It works for us. If you’re around 115 Sir Thayagaraya Road, you’ll find us easily enough. We aren't hidden away or anything. Just look for the sign. We keep things simple here because that’s what people seem to like. Nothing too complicated, just honest cooking and a place to sit. It’s just how we run things every day.
