Komalas Restaurant

Our doors are open over at No 3-A on Kodambakkam High Road. Komalas Restaurant has been part of the Nungambakkam scene for a long time. Tucked in near the Palmgrove Hotel, we're at a landmark most people in Chennai recognize. It gets pretty crowded on this road, especially during rush hour, but we like the energy. The building is simple and doesn’t have many frills. Our time is spent in the kitchen mostly. When people come in hungry, we feed them. Having a big philosophy or anything like that isn't our style. We just cook and serve. The 600034 area is where we belong. Because our staff has been here for years, we all know how the place runs. Expensive ads don't really interest us. Word of mouth seems to work okay for us instead. Sometimes the AC acts up or the tables get a bit crowded, but that’s life in a busy restaurant. You’ll find us right there on the high road, easy enough to spot if you’re looking for 3-A. The regulars who stop by to chat are our favorite part. It’s not just a business to us, it’s where we spend most of our waking hours. Keeping things moving and making sure everyone gets their meal on time is what we do. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till night. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
