Himalaya International

Our office is up on the second floor here on E.V.K. Sampath Road. Vepery is a crowded part of town, so finding a parking spot can be a real headache sometimes. We’ve been in this building for a good while. It's not a new place, but it works for what we do. Dealing with international stuff means we are often on the phone or checking paperwork all day long. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out like everyone else. It's mostly just regular office work, nothing too exciting. We have a small desk for guests if they need to sit down. Most of the time it’s just us drinking tea and getting through the pile of files on the desk. You get used to the noise from the street after a while. I’ve lived in Chennai my whole life and working here feels right. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of people. It’s just a handful of us making sure things get sent where they need to go. If you come by, you’ll probably see us busy with some documents. We don't really do much advertising. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they know the area. It’s a steady pace most days. We just try to get the work done by the time we head home in the evening. That is about it.
