Hari Om Bhavan Hotel

We are located at No 129, NSC Bose Road in the Sowcarpet area of Chennai. If you know Sowcarpet, you know how crowded and narrow the streets can get. It is 600001, right in the heart of the old city. Hari Om Bhavan Hotel is a simple spot in a very busy neighborhood. There are shops everywhere selling clothes, spices, and everything else you can imagine. The noise from the scooters and the shouting of the vendors is constant outside our windows. We have been here for a while and we are just used to the chaos. Our hotel isn't fancy. It is just a place to stay for people who have business in the market. We don't have a lot of space, but we make it work. Most of our guests are regulars who come to Sowcarpet for trading. We spend our mornings talking to the neighbors and getting things ready for the day. It gets very hot in Chennai, so we just try to keep the place as cool as we can. There is no marketing team writing this. It is just us, the people who work here every day on NSC Bose Road. We just keep the doors open and try to be helpful to anyone who comes in off the street. It’s a busy life, but it’s our life. We don’t really have any big secrets to how we do things, we just show up and do the cleaning and the bookkeeping until it is time to close up.
