Emarald Restaurant

We are at Plot No 22, inside the Emarald Hotel. If you are coming from the Central Railway Station in Chennai, we are very close. Being on Poonamallee High Road means there is a lot of noise and traffic outside, but we are used to it. Park Town is a very busy part of the city. We serve a lot of travelers who are just passing through because of the station. Our restaurant isn't very large, but we make use of the space we have. We’ve been here in the 600003 area for years. The staff knows the neighborhood well. We don't have any fancy decorations or complicated menus. We just focus on making sure the food is ready when people are hungry. Some of our staff have been with us since we opened. We spend a lot of time cleaning and prepping in the morning before the rush starts. Puasawalkam Road is always full of people, so we see a lot of different faces every day. It’s a lot of work to keep a restaurant running in such a crowded area. We don’t use any corporate scripts when we talk to our customers. We just speak naturally and try to be helpful. It’s just Emarald Restaurant, a small spot near the tracks where you can get something to eat. We are glad to be part of the Park Town community. Our goal is just to get through each day and do the job right.
