Eatalica Restaurant

Our address is a bit confusing because it says New No 38 and Old No 131. People sometimes get lost looking for the numbers, but we just tell them we are near Loyola College on Sterling Road. This is Eatalica Restaurant. We are in the Nungambakkam area, which is always buzzing with people. The road outside is constantly filled with cars and bikes. It can be hard to hear yourself think sometimes when the traffic is at its peak. We have a lot of regulars who come from the college and the offices nearby. The building is an older one, so it has those high ceilings that you don't see much anymore. We try to keep things organized, but when the lunch rush hits, it’s a bit of a scramble. We don't have a big corporate team or a fancy manager. It’s just us and the staff trying to keep up with the orders. Sometimes the fridge makes a weird humming noise, and the floor has some scuff marks from all the feet moving over it. We don't mind. It shows the place is being used. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, with new shops opening and old ones closing down, but we are still here. It’s just a regular local business, nothing more and nothing less. We just keep doing what we do every day, making sure the food is ready and the tables are clear.
