Dhabba Express Restaurant

Dhabba Express Restaurant is over at No 9, Cenotaph Road in Teynampet. The 600018 area is a busy part of town and Cenotaph Road always has something going on. We have been operating from this building for a while now. Teynampet is one of those places where you see all sorts of people through the day. We aren't a big fancy establishment, just a local restaurant trying to stay on top of things. The daily work starts pretty early and goes on until the evening. We deal with the Chennai humidity and the usual road noise that comes with being in such a central spot. There isn't a lot of space for long stories about why we are here, we just ended up at No 9 and stayed. The building itself is straightforward and plain. We don't use any flashy signs or anything like that. People who work in the nearby offices usually know we are here. It’s a simple life running a place like this. Some days are more tiring than others, especially when the traffic on Cenotaph Road gets backed up. We just keep the doors open and do what needs to be done. It's an honest living and we are just another part of the Teynampet street scene. There’s no big corporate office behind us, it is just the staff here making sure everything is handled every single day.
