Our place is at 578 Anna Salai in Teynampet. If you know Chennai, you know that Anna Salai is one of the busiest roads you can find. We are situated right near the Gemini Flyover. The sound of bikes and cars is something we hear all day long. Teynampet is a central spot, so there’s always something happening right outside our door. Being at number 578 means we’ve seen a lot of people pass through this area over the years. The flyover is a big landmark that helps people figure out where we are when they’re stuck in traffic. It’s a very urban setting. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. Cusine Court Restaurant is just a place on a very long, very famous road. We open early to get things ready before the heat of the day really kicks in. The humidity in Chennai is no joke, and being near the flyover doesn't change that much. We focus on the daily tasks. Cleaning up, checking the supplies, and waiting for the first person to walk in. It’s a lot of work running a restaurant here. The address is easy to remember once you’ve been here once. We aren’t hidden away in some back alley; we are right there where the city moves the fastest. It’s just us doing our job in Teynampet every single day. Even when the monsoon rains hit the street hard, we are still here, keeping the kitchen going.
