Curry House Restaurant

Our place, Curry House Restaurant, is located at No 2 in the AB Block on Second Avenue. If you know where Bharath Scan is in Anna Nagar, we’re right next door to them. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you’re familiar with this part of Chennai. We’ve been here for a bit now, serving the local community. Anna Nagar is a busy area, especially along Second Avenue, so there’s always a lot of foot traffic and cars going by. We aren't a big chain restaurant with glossy menus. It's just a local spot where we try to keep things consistent. The staff here knows most of the people who walk through the door by name. We don't have a mission statement or any of that corporate talk. We just focus on keeping the kitchen running smoothly and making sure the tables are clean. Sometimes it gets loud because of the street noise, but that's just life in the city. The scan center next door is always busy, so parking can be a bit of a headache during the day. We open up early to start the prep work because everything takes time to get right. It’s a lot of chopping and stirring before the first customer even arrives. We like being in this neighborhood. It feels like home to us. If you’re around the AB Block and need a place to sit down for a meal, we’re right there next to the scan center.
