Bell Restaurant

Bell Restaurant is located at 47 Poonamallee High Road, which used to be known as old number 21 back in the day. We are right in the Periamet area of Chennai, not far from the Emerald Hotel. It is a very busy part of town with a lot of shops and people walking by all the time. Our place has been around for a while, and we have seen the street change quite a bit over the years. We mostly serve the local workers and people who are just passing through the neighborhood. The kitchen stays pretty active from the morning until the evening. It is not a very big space, so it can get a bit crowded during the lunch hour. We just have simple tables and some chairs for people to sit down and eat. The staff knows most of the regulars by name since they come in almost every day for their meals. We don't have any fancy signs or big advertisements out front, just the name on the building. The Chennai heat can be tough during the day, so we try to keep the place as cool as possible for whoever stops in. It is a straightforward business, really. We just focus on getting the food ready and keeping the floor swept. If you are around Periamet, you will probably see us right there on the main road.
