Amrita Institute Of Computer Technology (Aict)

Our institute is found at 134/B on Arcot Road, right in the Saligramam area. It is a busy part of the city, so there is always a lot of traffic and noise outside our doors. Inside, we have set up several rooms with computers for the students. It is not a massive building, but we use the space we have as efficiently as possible. We focus on teaching computer tech to anyone who signs up for the courses. Most of the staff has been here for years, and we know the local area well. The students usually come from the nearby neighborhoods. They sit at the rows of monitors for hours at a time. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles a bit when the rooms are full, but we manage. We keep the books and manuals on shelves in the corner for anyone to reference. It is a very hands-on kind of place. You won't find much in the way of fancy lobby furniture here. Instead, you will see a lot of cables and keyboards. We spend our days troubleshooting software or helping someone understand a bit of code. Arcot Road is always moving, so even late in the evening when we are closing up, the street is still bright. It is a practical spot for learning, and we like being part of the local Saligramam community. We just keep our heads down and do the work daily.
