Zeenat Restaurant

Our restaurant is on Teliya Bagh Road, right near the Mari Mai Mandir. If you know that temple, you won't have any trouble finding us. We are located at S 13/67 in the Teliyabag area of Varanasi. It’s a local spot where people from the neighborhood come to eat. We’ve been here for years, and not much has changed in terms of how we do things. We open the doors early and stay busy until the evening. The kitchen is always going. It’s not a big fancy place with air conditioning and soft chairs. It’s more of a place where you sit down, eat your fill, and move on with your day. We know a lot of our customers by name since they live just down the street. Sometimes the road gets really crowded with traffic and people going to the mandir, but we just keep working through it. Our menu is pretty basic, just the stuff people around here like to eat every day. We don't have a marketing department. We just rely on the fact that people know where we are. The staff is mostly family or people who have been with us a long time. It’s a simple life running a kitchen in Varanasi. We just try to make sure the food is hot and ready. The chairs are old and the tables have some scratches from years of use. We think it gives the place a bit of history. We don't have plans to change how things look. Why fix something that isn't broken? We’ve been serving the same community for a long time and hope to keep it going.
