Bistro Benares Multicuisine Restaurant

Bistro Benares is a multicuisine restaurant located inside the Diamond Hotel. We are in the Bhelupura area of Varanasi. This is one of the older and more crowded parts of the city. We have been here for a while and we know the neighborhood well. The restaurant handles many different kinds of food, which keeps the kitchen very busy. We are just a local team of cooks and servers. We don't have a big corporate image or any polished marketing materials. We spend our mornings getting the kitchen ready and sourcing ingredients from the local vendors. Bhelupura is a place with a lot of soul, and we try to reflect that in our work. We don't use any fancy phrases or make big claims about our mission. We just focus on the daily tasks of running a restaurant. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic when we have many customers at once, but we manage. The building is a traditional hotel structure, so it has a certain feel to it. We don't spend much time on social media or advertising. We’d rather be in the kitchen making sure everything is prepared correctly. If you are visiting Varanasi and find yourself in Bhelupura, you can find us inside the hotel.
